- The sales figures for April for the Oahu real estate market have been released by the Honolulu Board of Realtors®. Here is a single-page set of charts showing the last 12 months of data. It was a slightly negative month. Almost every data point was slightly down or barely even with both one year ago and the previous month. After the more positive recent months, it's a bit of a surprise, but world events, and interest rates, may be taking their toll. Hopefully, when things settle down, the positive pattern returns. Inventory increased a little, and pending sales volume looks steady. (5/8/26)

- The March sales numbers for the Oahu real estate market have been released by the Honolulu Board of Realtors®. Here is a single-page set of charts showing the last 12 months of data. It was a neutral-to-positive month. Sales volume for homes was up strongly compared to the previous month and a year ago. Condo sales also were up from the previous month, but down a bit from twelve months ago. Median sales prices were up or flat depending on which time frame one looked at. The combined three-month moving average of both property types set a new record - primarily due to the median home prices. Inventory increased a little, and pending sales volume looks fairly level. It was a mixed-to-positive month - showing the split between the single-family home market and the condo market. Sales volume for homes increased from last year, and the median sale price was a new record. Condo sales volume was basically flat, as was the median price from twelve months ago. Inventory for both property types was fairly even over the last few months. Home inventory is still much lower when looking back over the last year. Pending sales volume looks more positive. (3/6/26)
